Profile & Appearance
Your profile settings control how Thallus identifies you and how the interface looks. These are personal settings — they apply only to your account and don't affect other users in your organization.
Settings tabs
The Settings page is organized into five tabs:
| Tab | What it controls |
|---|---|
| General | Display name, timezone, appearance, password, account deletion |
| API Keys | Programmatic access keys for scripts and integrations |
| Memories | View and manage what Thallus remembers about you |
| Models | Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model configuration |
| Billing | Subscription plan, usage, and team management |
The General tab contains the profile and appearance settings covered on this page, plus password management and account deletion.
Display name
Your display name appears in conversations, team member lists, and audit logs. To change it, edit the name field on the General tab and click Save.
Your email address is shown but cannot be changed — it's tied to your authentication identity. If you signed up via SSO, the email comes from your identity provider.
Timezone
Your timezone affects how timestamps are displayed across the platform, and controls when scheduled workflows fire. Select from the IANA timezone database (e.g., America/New_York, Europe/London, Asia/Tokyo).
A Detect button auto-selects the timezone reported by your browser. You can also search the dropdown to find your timezone manually.
The timezone is validated server-side against the IANA database — invalid timezone strings are rejected.
Appearance
Choose between three visual themes:
| Theme | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Light | Always uses the light color scheme |
| Dark | Always uses the dark color scheme |
| System | Follows your operating system's appearance setting, switching automatically |
Theme selection takes effect immediately — no save button needed. Your preference is stored locally in your browser, so it persists across sessions but doesn't sync between devices.
SSO accounts
If you signed in through an SSO provider (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, or Auth0), your authentication is managed by your identity provider. The password section is not shown on the General tab for SSO-only accounts. See Password & Security for details on password management and session security.
